Christmas spirit in Perth

Christmas is fast approaching and it is a very different experience to be far away from "home" at this time of the year. It is also the time of year when I miss Sweden as it is a very special time there. To make up for it we went to IKEA and bought gingerbread and ¨glögg. This was on the 13th Dec (Lucia in Sweden).

The same evening we went to Carols by Candlelight by the river in Perth City. It was a great night with the Christmas message played out in music and action. They had Scottish pipe band, choirs and even three live camels for the wise men. We went together with two girls from Holland, Paulien and Sjaane. We got to know them travelling the Top End and it was nice to catch up again and compare notes.

Time is running out so we are getting ready to leave Perth and go onto Margaret River which is our next stop.
